Movie Genres is a way of separating different movies apart depending on how they are constructed and portrayed. Genres are important because it allows people to differentiate movie apart just by reading what genre they have been allotted.
After movie Genres there is something called a Sub Genre, a Sub Genre is basically a smaller not as well knows movie Genre which is derived from a main movie Genre.
Lastly there is something called a Hybrid Genre (or Cross Genre), a Hybrid Genre is basically a combination of main Genres and Sub Genres that is used to create an entirely new genre, such as ‘Supernatural Drama’.
